The Center for Caregivers (CFC) takes care of caregivers and their families. CFC offers counseling and support to caregivers, and the people they care for, through several different services.
Anyone who takes care of another person, or plans to take care of another person, is a caregiver. Caregivers play a very important role in our society. Everyday, in some way, caregivers give of themselves to make someone else’s life better. Despite the decision to be a caregiver, taking care of another person can be overwhelming and stressful. CFC offers services to help with the journey of caregiving.
Individual counseling offers a private, personal approach. Therapy groups are available for those who prefer peer support and an educated facilitator. And home visits are available to those who are unable to leave their homes and can benefit from counseling.
