Trying-to-Conceive

When a couple, or an individual, is struggling with issues related to fertility, there may be times when they would like to talk to others going through similar situations and/or to a trained professional. Sometimes the road to conception may feel overwhelming. The support and guidance of others, and a therapist, may help ease the worry and tension that can occur when a couple is trying to conceive. The Center for Caregivers offers both individual counseling and therapy groups for individuals and couples who are trying to conceive. A free, initial phone consultation is available to help determine which services would suit each person’s needs.

Therapy Groups

The Center for Caregivers offers Therapy Groups that meet once a week for 60 minutes and are scheduled for 4-week sessions. There are groups for couples or individuals. Participants come together and discuss their feelings in a warm and supportive environment. Group size is limited and one must pre-register to participate.

Individual Counseling

The Center for Caregivers offers individual counseling to individuals or couples who are trying to conceive. Each person’s journey with the process of trying to conceive is unique and individual counseling allows the client, or clients, a focused concentration on the personal experience. Individual sessions are 50 minutes in length.
